Between hosting its 2012 Summit and a big acquisition, Red Hat has had a busy week! Jim Whitehurst’s opening keynote presentation at the Red Had Summit took a retrospective look at revolutionizing innovations, inspiring numerous blogs and articles. The billion dollar open source company also made news when it announced it was buying the open source integration and messaging framework, FuseSource, from Progress Software. Still, Red Hat wasn’t the only organization making a splash in OSS this week:
- Chris von Eitzen reported on the specifics around Adobe’s new web development code editor, Brackets, in the article, “Adobe Details Its Open Source Code Editor for Web Developers” (Make sure to watch the video intro to Brackets!)
